My husband has a headache that doesn't go away he says it feels like pressure and gets more severe after coughing. His urine smells horrible and brown in color. He feels like hes running a temperature but isnt and always feels tired and wore out any advise or possible diagnosis?

Hi, welcome to our site. I am Dr Saumya Mittal, MD.

Read your query. That is a very significant question and i appreciate your problem. I will try my best to answer your query

The symptoms sound very much like the headache caused by headache. This may be more so in view of the cough and cold that you have mentioned that he may be having. The bodyache and myalgia and the generalized feeling of tiredness can also be explained by the same.

As for the urine, I dont think that is related to the headache. I think the possibility is more likely that he is not having enough fluid due to his affliction.
I will suggest therefore that you monitor the fluid intake he has.

I will suggest the following tests-
x ray PNS waters view
urine routine and culture
complete blood count

I hope this helps you. Inform the reports mentioned above/if any other so I can be of help further.

I have given you the answer to the maximum considering the information provided. The results of the tests could further enhance my answer to you.

Please do understand that some details could be extracted from a detailed history and examination.

Please feel free to ask another query. I would be glad to help you. Looking forward to your return query with the details asked so that I can help you further.
