What Causes Severe Headache, Nausea And Lightheadedness In A Teenager?
I can t eat breakfast in the morning. Usually start meals at noon. I run 2-3 miles some mornings without problems. I ve been doing this for years now. I m 18 slim skinny and my bmi is 16. I suffer from headaches sometimes severe, but today I had nausea along with light headedness. I through up my first food today - salsa and chips - my favorite!
As per your query your friend has severe headache, nausea and lightheadedness . Well there can be many reasons for dizziness like Low blood sugar and iron level , Some medications like anti-seizure drugs, antidepressants, sedatives and tranquilizers , Ear infection , Due to sonme medication , Benign paroxysmal positional vertigo , Meniere's disease and Migraine . I would suggest you to consult ENT specialist for proper examination . Doctor may order certain tests like CT scan , blood test , rotatory chair test , posturography and examination with otoscope . Doctor may prescribe antiemetic drug , antibiotics at least for 10 days , antihistamine , Prochlorperazine and recommend vestibular therapy . For now do warm saline gargles and take steam twice daily .
