What Causes Severe Headache And "tummy" Pain In A Six Year Old Child?

Hello. My six year old son is complaining of severe headache and "tummy" pain when his bladder is full; maintaining elevated temp near 101 degrees. Vomiting yesterday, but no nausea so far this morning. He is currently being treated with amoxicillin for bacterial pharyngitis, but I'm guessing he has a bladder infection as well. I had him pee in a cup this morning so I would have a specimen to take in - should I head to ER with him or make an appointment with his PCP?
