What Causes Severe Headache And Passing Green Stool In A Child?

Good evening my 12 year old daughter is experiencing severe headaches bright green poo (it s solid ) and often complains of feeling sick I haven t linked the 3 but this evening she showed me her poo and I was very shocked she hasn t changed her diet and said this has been going for a few days but also the pass couple of weeks she s had several headaches and always complains of feeling sick Her bowl movements have ways been frequent but she did suffer with constipation in the first few months of her life I ve very concerned what this could be

Hi,

Noted the history about your 12 year old daughter about green stools, headaches and feeling sick.
This is surely suggestive of some Enteric Infection as we call in our medical language meaning this can be enterocolitis, typhoid and so on.
Hence I would advise you the following in such a situation:
Consult her Pediatrician as soon as possible.
Get the stool and blood tests, particularly blood culture and sensitivity tests so that a proper diagnosis can be done.
She surely needs an antibiotic course along with symptomatic and supportive management.
