Ophthalmologist 's  Response
Welcome to health care magic.

I reviewed your history.
It seems from the history that your dad who was operated for cataract surgery is having lack of vision with severe pain. This can be because of raised intraocular pressure as your doctor has told you and needs to be treated by the use of antiglaucoma drugs like acetazolamide and timolol.
This should come down in 1-2 weeks. The other causes that needs to be ruled out inflammation or infection of the eye.
If the symptoms persist do consult your ophthalmologist for examination and treatment accordingly.

Hope this information is helpful to you.

Thank you
