What Causes Severe Headache And Neck Pain During Pregnancy?

I am 7+ weeks pregnant.. I get severe headache for the last one month along with neck ache . for the last one week am having low grade fever of 99 during the evenings alone. my esr is 91. is it just some sinus ?? I took med from doctor it s fine wen I take med once I discontinue it pops again , the headache n neckadhe

Hi, I have gone through your question. Headache with neckache, low grade fever and increased ESR makes the tubercular infection of the brain first probable diagnosis. Since you are 7 weeks pregnant, I would suggest you to urgently consult a neurologist, get a MRI and other relevant investigations done to rule out tuberculosis, as treatment has to be started at the earliest in such a case. If it is ruled out, the neurologist will rule out other conditions like migraine, cervical spondylitis etc and will treat you according.
