What Causes Severe Hands Tremors?

female 58 yr old has hands shaking, I am reading about tumors etc....it notes toxins as possible problem
she doesn't drink alcohol - rare occasion she will have one drink these days - she does drink 3+ mountain dew daily and has for yrs. Could this be a toxin that could cause this type condition?

Hello,

Tremors of hands can be due to weakness, it can be due to low sugar levels in fasting state, at this age it can also be due to Parkinson disease with memory problems or it can be due to thyroid disturbances also. There are multiple causes for hand tremors. She needs to consult a physician first for this and get her evaluated for the probable cause. Treatment would be depending on the cause only.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Prashant Gohil
