What Causes Severe Fatigue With Fever And Red Patches On Tongue?

I am 72 and was experiencing extreme exhaustion. Went to Dr about 2 weeks ago. Temp just under 102 and pulse 100. Pee in cup showed UTI after 5 days changed to amoxicillin clave. Still spiking fever at night, horrible deep productive cough. Now red patches on tongue. Better so slightly each day. Two days of meds left. Before this health and active for age. Should I go to urgent care, go back to Dr on Monday or hope I get better.
