Hi,
Noted your history of being on
Levothyroxine, optimal blood tests yet feeling tired and have difficulty in forming thoughts, being forgetful,
chronic fatigue and sore joints.
I can understand that all the symptoms are really trouble making and makes life worrisome.
Since you are on Levothyroxine and the blood reports are normal but still have symptoms we have to find the cause and get treated accordingly.
Hence I would advise you the following in such a situation:
Consult a Physician for proper detailed clinical evaluation, examination and relevant investigations to know the cause.
You will also require an X-ray of chest and
ultrasonography of abdomen to see for additional problems.
Blood tests for general diseases like
tuberculosis,
typhoid and those common in your area of work or residence should be done.
All these exercises will make it possible to get any specific disease other than
thyroid problem and thus getting treated accordingly may solve your problems.
If all the investigations are normal then a possibility of stress and
anxiety related problems needs to be though of and a control over the factors that cause such problems may help you further.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. T Chandrakant, ENT & General Surgeon
