What Causes Severe Ear Ache Along With Sore Throat And Low Grade Fever?

Severe ear-ache@ 2weeks ago/woke from sound sleep/next day& for @ 3-4days sore throat/productive cough(especially at nite)last two days-sinus headache,low grade fever and much nasal drainage(had Strepp test-last week and chest x-ray-both negative) what is next?

Hello,
You may need antibiotics. If this has been going on for over two weeks you may need an antibiotic. Often ear infections or sinus infections start out as a viral infection but this usually clears up on 7-10 days. If it persists for a longer time then you may have developed a secondary bacterial infection.
See your doctor for another evaluation and treatment.
