What Causes Severe Diarrhea And Nausea Post Colonoscopy?
I am a 61 yr old male. One month ago I had a routine colonoscopy and everything was fine On July 10th, 11 days now, I started experiencing severe diarrhea with a touch of nausea. The diarrhea is green, and no amount of pepto bismall or Imodium ad had stopped it. Could I possibly have an intestinal virus and how do I treat it?

hi..diarrhoea and nausea are common side effects after colonoscopy..
such condition occurs due to disruption of colonic flora and bowel wash during procedure..
but it last for few days...and revert back to normal..
in your case it is over a month.
