What Causes Severe Cramps In The Lower Back And Upper Abdomen?

Have what feels like a severe cramp in my lower left back and also on my right, upper abdomen. The upper abdomen was hurting last night and finally subsided. After which the area that was hurting was tender to the touch. Tonight, I bent over to pick up something and the pain was back (upper abdomen) and lower back on the left. Currently subsided after drinking some gatorade, a glass of water AND taking a supplement containing potassium, magnesium and bromelian. Could this be a kidney stone possibly. bromelian

Hi,

This can be due to renal calculus or kidney stones in which pain radiates to back on the side and thighs.

Tell me if you feel pain and difficulty in urination, is your blood red colored.

Your feedback will help to address it properly.

You can directly report to the emergency room for further evaluation and accordingly, it can be treated.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
