What Causes Severe Cramps In The Abdomen During Periods?

I have been experiencing terrible cramps before during and after my period. This month they are the worst they ve ever been. They are in my abdomen, bladder, and rectum. Even the blood looks different. A lighter color. I ve never seen a gynecologist. Should I be worried. Should I make and appointment with a gynecologist?

Hi,

You may be suffering from premenstrual syndrome or endometriosis. You may take plenty of liquids, use tablet Mefenamic acid and Tranexemic acid twice a day for five days.

Please get it done ultrasound abdomen, urine examination. If symptoms not improved please consult your doctor he will examine and treat you accordingly.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
