What Causes Severe Cough After Smoking Marijuana?

Hi, My farher is having cough problem. He smoks beedi for a ling time. Now whenever he coughs in the morning, he lose his senses and fall. This happens only in the morning. Rest of the day he is absolutely fine but cough is still there. I went to see a doctor and he took xray of his lungs and then said there is nothing wrong with it. He said when he coughs his neck veins get so much filled with snot that it stops blood circulation to mind. I am not sure whats wrong here but I need your advise or may be you can recommend any doctor in Karnal.

The cause of loss of senses and fall in the morning after an episode of cough could be explained by poor circulation through neck vessels during crisis.I will however advise he avoids smoking as cough could be due to irritants from marijuana.He should also avoid cold and dust as any respiratory irritant may cause the symptoms especially cold in the early morning hours.He will also need to drink enough water .A normal chest X-ray excludes a lung infection.
