What Causes Severe Constipation Followed By Diarrhea With Blood In Stool?
My boyfriend was severely constipated last week and took us 8hrs of trying and buying everything to help. It was awful. He said it felt like a baseball stuck up on their. Well this week sctuallyactually today I went in their and he didn t flush so I could see wat was concernconcern. The toilet was full of bright, red blood from after diarea bowel movement. More blood than I ve ever seen in a toilet. Any advice please?
You have problem of blood in stool and alternative diarrhea and constipation problem that may be because of diverticulitis. Intestinal infection like ulcerative colitis may cause bleeding in stool. Intestinal polyp may cause blood in stool problem.
As soon as possible consent a gastroenterologist for further diagnosis. Total blood cell count and abdominal sonography is helpful for diagnosis . Colonoscopy can done for further diagnosis.
