What causes severe cold, dizziness and plugged ears?

I ve had a bad cold and then before i could get completely over that one, i got another one on top of that. I also have allergies and live in Alaska. I have been having small dizzy spells when standing up from sitting and my ears keep plugging and sometimes i get a rushing noise like a fan makes in my ears. I m thinking i should have my heart checked but could it be sinus stuff as well?

Psychiatrist 's  Response

All your symptoms are due to cold. Blocked ears can cause giddiness. You can try valsalva maneuver. Some anti-allergic drugs taken regularly should help. Consult your ENT specialist. Unlikely to be due to heart disease.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
