What Causes Severe Chest Pain Along With Nausea And Vomiting On Intake Of Cipro?

I ve had a bladder, or UTI infection, along with severe sore throat, fever. After I started Cipro started having trouble swallowing, felt like throat was like it was selling shut. Then developed nausea, and food won t go down, gets stuck in esophagus, causing severe chest pain, and vomiting when i try to eat Solid food,and an not able to urinate, only dribble, even though I am constantly drinking, and mouth and tongue are raw, like thrush

I have understood your concern

it's good if you have mentioned about your age and gender.

1.nausea is side effect of cipro , but it can be due to site throat also
2.getting food stucked in esophagus is something we have to evaluate - you need to get done endoscopy to see if there is any stricture
3.get done ultrasound KUB pre and post void urine scan to check for post void urine and need for surgical correction
4.get Urine culture and change antibiotics accordingly
5. get serum creatinine and electrolytes to make sure that there is no kidney damage
6. meanwhile avoid solid food and take only soft and liquid foods.
