What Causes Severe Chest Pain Along With High BP And Fatigue?

Joan states that several years ago she had similar pain in chest and needed shunts. She can t remember whether the pain was intesified on inspiration, but that pain was more severe. Her blood pressure is 126/ 76 and she does not appear acutely ill though she is fatigued She does get anxious whenever she notices any new symptoms. However when i was just visiting her she was able to converse and refused to let me take her to urgent or emergency care.

Hello
Welcome to Ask a Doctor service.
I have reviewed your query, and here is my advice.
Chest pain may have several reasons and the most common is cardiac pain and it can be due to coronary insufficiency EKG is the test that confirmed the condition, second it can be due to GERD, (Gastroesophageal reflux disease) these two are the common conditions are much common but for other causes different test needed, last but not least it can be due to some functional conditions.
Hope I have answered your query, let me know for further assistance.
