What Causes Severe Back Pain With Nausea After Endoscopy?

Hi i am a 27 year old female, i was diagnosed in may 2011 with severe esophagitis, gastritis and esophagitis, and was treated with the triple treatment. after another endoscopy in september these had began to clear up. over the last 8 weekes my symptoms have gotten worse and i am also suffering severe back pain and constant nausea. my doctor has said there is no more medication she can treat me with and refered me back to the hospital. in the mean i would like an opinion into what this might be. it may also help to know that both my parents have past away from stomach cancer in recent years

It might be referred pain from gastritis/duodenitis-your gastro endoscopist must have ruled out cancer, so it should be due to hyperacidity. avoid all bulky food instead have small frequent meals, try antacids and ask your gastro specialist to review. If you can be examined by orthopedic specialist, the backpain diagnosis can clear whether it is referred from GI tract or its physical back pain
