Hi am 31 yr old women.i have a 2 yr old baby. I am taking 62.4 thyronorm tab and krimson35 for pcod. Now my tsh level and menstruation cycle is normal. But seens two weeks i have head moving and back ache problem . also I have speelenomegali. And gas and acidic problem. Antacid are not affective always. So what can I do?
First of all, it's sad to know what you had been going through lately. Based on the history you have shared. Since TSH levels and menstrual cycle is normal on Medical therapy so these need to be continued to keep good control.
Meanwhile, for back problems, you need to have X-rays done and an orthopedic surgeon or neurosurgeon review and to get radiographs done. If Xrays are unremarkable, CT or MRI will be needed.
Meanwhile OTC analgesic like acetaminophen can be helpful. Ibuprofen or other non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs should be avoided due to acid problems.
For which using antacids may not be sufficient so you may need motility agents like domperidone or itapride alongside sucralfate.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Take care
Regards,
Dr Saddiq Ulabidin, General & Family Physician
