What Causes Severe Back Pain And Pain Under The Belly While Urinating?
I went to the ER For lower back pain in the right side and pain under my belly button when I use the restroom. They said that I have ovarian cysts and he thinks one ruptured. Today I'm bleeding and am hurting really bad when I use the restroom should I be concerned? My last day on my menstral period was January 10th
Hi, I had gone through your question and understand your concerns. Yes, this is most likely have been ovarian cyst rupture which is related with bleeding and suddden pain in pelvis. Ovarian cysts are in most cases small and asymptomatic and it means that it doesn’t cause any significant symptoms and doesn’t require specific treatment. But when it ruptures it causes pain and discomfort. Also, in cases or cysts larger than 5cm, bleeding cysts, torsion or rupture surgical treatment is required. Also, if there is polycystic syndrome as underlying cause then hormonal therapy is indicated. Pain is usually placed deep in pelvis on affected side and may be associated with nausea and fever. To diagnose it you should do ultrasound and vaginal examination but only after the bleeding stops.
