What Causes Severe Anxiety Along With Itchy Eyes And Clogged Ears?

I seem to suffering from allergies. I recently moved from Florida to Arizona. Since then I ve been having trouble. I ve been using Flonase but seem to still have trouble. Past few days I wake up with anxiety. Restlessness, hot flashes. Itchy eyes sinus pressure. I saw a Dr. About a week ago for my ear being clogged and wouldn t unclog. He gave me a kenalog shot. He said its slow acting and would stay in my system for 3 months. My ear is better but sinus symptoms and anxiety is still there. Is this environmental allergies? If so what else can I do to help? Or could it be a food allergy of some kind? Please advise miserable in Az. Thank you for your time. Frank

General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

Consult a psychiatrist and get evaluated.

Avoid unwanted stress and anxiety. Relaxation techniques like yoga and meditation can help a bit.

You can also take an antihistamine like cetirizine for symptomatic relief.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Shinas Hussain, General & Family Physician
