What Causes Severe Anxiety After Discontinuing Zoloft?

I have extreme anxiety and panic attacks which started 3 months ago because of upper back pain..feel l like it is effecting my central nervous system..prescribed clonidine and Zoloft..stopped taking the Zoloft, 25 mg. after 7 days ..was making me very sick to my stomach..now have withdrawal symptons and worse anxiety..how long will it take for this to stop

the withdrawal symptoms of Zoloft usually does not last longer than a week. But if you are having severe withdrawal then you can restart the drug and then rapper off more slowly.
