What Causes Severe Acid Reflux After Bariatric Surgery?
Hey, my wife has had bariatric surgery and has developed a sever agravating reflux and gag reflex. She is on a PICC line and is taking IV Zofran and Reglan 4X daily. She is also taking IV NEXIUM. We have been doing this for 2 days, and she has developed some diaheria. Any suggestions?

Hello,
Diarrhoea is a side effect of bariatric surgery. Also, Nexium contributes to this. I think she will get better soon. Try not to take too many fruit juices that contains fructose and lactose that causes diarrhoea.
