What Causes Severe Abdominal Pain During 6th Week Of Pregnancy?

Hi doctors, please I am 6weeks pregnant now and having serious waist and abdominal pains. So my question is which type of drug will I take to stop the pains because it s too much? The reason I am looking for solution now is because, that how it started last time before I had a miscarriage, please I don t want it to happen again help me out. Am Phibian from Nigeria.

I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

You should have a bed rest. No massaging or fermentation of abdomen.

Such pain is likely to be followed by abortion (in addition you have same history last time). Such abortions are due to deficiency of hormone progesterone.

You should rush to the treating gynecologist earliest for specific prescription but it is not possible. Continue with bed rest. Take tab Duphaston over-the-counter 1 pill twice a day (12 hourly). Also, take tablet Duvadilan half pill 8 hourly (3 times a day) and contact the doctor for further management.
