What Causes Seizures And High Fever In Baby?
Hi Doctor,
My daughter is just 16 months old & 1 time she choke last month bit vibration & unconscious with high fever, 2nd time this month against we traveled lot with her finally returning she got fever in bus & again shuddering & 1 minute choke.. i taken her to child specialist. he written for EEG, it is safe to that? how to avoid this seizures, what is cause?

Hi..It looks like fever associated convulsions. You should try to bring down the fever by cold sponging and paracetamol (dose as per weight).It is good to undergo EEG as it will tell about seizure activity. This procedure is safe and does not have any complications.
