What Causes Seizures After Alcohol Withdrawal?

Yes, can you please explain to me what causes alcohol withdrawal seizures? I had one a couple of years ago when my husband tried to slow down my drinking his own way, not realizing he could kill me doing this, and I had a seizure. I am just wandering what causes it, because I am scared to death about having another one!

Your hasband suddenly stop a alcohol drinking so it lead to alcohol withdrawal syndrom. In which severe seizure and anxiety occurs.
Alcohol drinking cause neurotransmitters suppression that lead to calm feeling.After stop alcohol drinking not suppres neurotransmiter so overactivity of brain occurs that called rebound effect .

Consent a physician for further treatment.
Anticonvulsant drug helpful for seizure.
