What Causes Scabs In The Nostril That Bleeds?

Have scab in nostril which bleeds every day for last 3-4months , take Naprosyn for 6 mths for osteoarthritis, also yesterday have scab on right leg shin, and today also on left leg shin, these scabs have appeared without any outside impact or injury any ideas? regards Patric

Thanks for your query.
Noted your history of scabs in the nose that bleed.
This is indicative of a disease called atrophic rhinitis in which there blood supply to the nasal internal tissues is reduced to cause the infection to settle in fast and cause scabs which on separation cause bleeding.
This can be confirmed by ENT Endoscopy and CT scan of the nose and the sinuses to see the attendant changes.
Your second problem concerns the scab formation on the shin of legs appearing without any obvious injury. These can be due to secondary infection from the nose circulated through the blood or can be a dermatological condition which needs an opinion of a Dermatologist .
