Hello,

You can take over-the-counter antibiotics like Azithral once a day for 5 days. Also, take tablets which have a combination of Paracetamol and CPM or Cetirizine. For cough you take cough syrup like Bro-zedex or Ambroxol. Do saltwater gargling with lukewarm water. It may be just an upper respiratory tract infection. Pleurisy develops after long-term (chronic) lower respiratory tract infection and is very unlikely in your case. So in 3 to 4 days you should be fine.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Sanjay Kini
