My son went to Puerto Rico for 2 weeks this summer and was exposed to a dirty house, cockroaches and also he went snorkeling. While in PR he started having episodes of sneezing fits and runny nose. Now he is back to Connecticut and has been sneezing and having rhinorrhea every time he takes a shower. He has history of cold urticaria but no history of allergic rhinitis until now. No sinus pressure/pain, discolored nasal discharge, fever, cough, headaches, itchy eyes, or rashes. Any ideas why he is getting this? The sneezing stops after about 5-10 minutes, the rhinorrhea lasts a bit longer. He also gets this at his father s apartment after every shower. We have dogs at my house, no pets at his dad s.
