What Causes Ringing In Ear?

I woke up this morning with what feels like an air bubble in my right ear, and a lot of ringing. Yesterday I went to the doctor for cold symptoms, and was prescribed anti-biotics for bronchitis. My symptoms are, coughing (Wet), fever, headache, body ache, diarrhea, and now, my ear. I just want to know if my ear is just a side effect of the cold, or something more serious that I need to go to the doctor again. Thanks !

ENT Specialist 's  Response
Hello

From your symptoms it looks like your symptoms are due to the cold and will subside once the cold us gone. I would just recommend taking steam inhalation thrice a day and continue the rest of medications.
Take care
