What causes ringing in ear and swollen throat?

Hello Sir.... Sir...I m 20 years old boy from last 2 days I m having cold then I started to noticed a lil ringing sounds in my ear especially my right ear,but now I m having strep throat and flu...I just went to the Doctor for check up,I told him about the ringing sound which is irratating,he told me it s because swallowen in my throat and it effect the ear due to the sounds that I may hear...I just got an Injection just now in the evening,tomorrow will be the second injection on my hand Dr,please help me,I really wanted to know what is my problem...I m always focusing on the sounds...a lil scared....

You may be suffering from pharyngitis with eustachian tube block with tinnitus.

Until examination is done it is difficult to say what it is.

Avoid allergens, cool drinks and freeze water. Use water vapour inhalation and salt water gargling thrice a day for five days.

If symptoms not improved please consult your doctor he will examine and treat you accordingly.
