What Causes Right Sided Abdominal Pain After Copper IUD Insertion?

I had a copper coil put in on friday and since Sunday night I had a really sharp pain up in my right side since then I ve had a constant pain that feels like I m hungry but also like I am having a miscarriage I am not pregnant and no matter how much or little I eat the pain is still there what do you it could be

The Copper T IUD is a method of contraception that lasts up to ten years after insertion. It is 99% effective in preventing pregnancy and it does not contain hormones.
Women who use the Copper T may experience some side effects. One of the side effect of abdominal pain is what you are experiencing. You can take analgesics like Tablet.Ibuprofen 400mg after food to get relieved from pain.
Kindly check weather the threads are in place.
In case the pain doesn't subside, kindly seek medical help immediately.
Visit your doctor to check for signs of infection between 3-4 weeks after the contraceptive coil has been inserted.
