What Causes Ribs Pain, Diarrhea With Gallbladder Surgery History?

Week before last I was diagnosed with the flu. I was given Tamiflu and yes it did the trick. But due to the coughing I thought I pulled a muscle in my lower right ribs. I no longer cough but the pain in my ribs are still there. Now I have developed diarrhea which is nothing but yellow bile. I had gallbladder surgery 2 years ago, but still have the gallbladder. What should I do? I don't feel sick, just tired and sore.

HI
Well come to HCM
I really appreciate your concern, if the cough is due to viral infection then it may not need any treatment but it is the self limiting condition, drinking more water and hot drinks could reduce the viscosity of sputum, such diarrhea also need to treatment this is too self limiting, and the diarrhea is nothing to take anything with gallbladder surgery, but some time it could be due to infection if the symptoms of diarrhea persist then it can be given try with Tab Doxycycline 100 mg once in day for five days hope this information
