What Causes Rhinitis With Nasal Odor?

my son is 4yr old and is been 2wks since my son have bad smell from his nose. I gave him cough & cold medecine and only help hims to stop his running nose and not the smell. I took him to the dentist and he will be having surgery on the 10th of June to remove 2bad tooth and couple of crwon fillings.... I hope that will help my son... and as for now I need help to see what I can do or wait until his done w/tooth surgery... Wth Respect.... Mom

Hello,

It may be due to rhinitis.

For that you may require complete hemogram, sinus x ray after ENT consultation.

You may require antibiotics after consultation.

Continue steam inhalation.

Apply nasal saline drops locally.

For allergy you can take tablet loratidine
