What Causes Redness On The Back And Chest While Suffering From Fever?

my 6 year old granddaughter had a slight fever yesterday and today we noticed redness on her back, sides, some on chest and face, coupled with slight swelling of skin here and there. As a non-doctor, I would say it looked like sunburn or a skin irritation from rolling in the grass. She is acting fine, a bit tired.

Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service. I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

Well I would like some more information about this red spots but anyway I think they are due to temp. Sometimes children after the temp have this red spots but is nothing to worry. Only warm baths and nothing else. Also you should control the temp regularly. Try to use healthy diet and water.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
