What Causes Redness Of Skin On The Neck?

About two weeks ago, I was at work and my neck was tingling and sort of itchy. My coworkers said that my neck was red. By the end of the day, my chest and neck were bright red. Everyone thought I had a trouble sun burn. It was even coming up on the sides of my face. I had Benadryl and Prednazone so I took this over the next 3 days. I thought I had come in contact with something that I was allergic to. I had blown out our garage the afternoon before. Today, a coworker said that my neck was red again. It s not itchy, but it is turning red. Now I m getting concerned.

hi..i have been through ur query carefully n understand ur concern.
ur history suggests that ur having either sunburn or allergic contact dermatitis.in either case i would suggest u the following measures.
u need to know what factors aggravate ur condition.either exposure to sun or some specific irritants.avoid the irritant and do sun protection.apply sun block daily.u can use an umbrella for a week too.
apply 1%hydrocortisone cream on the affected area twice daily for 2 weeks.
take tab cetrizine 10mg at night for 1 week.
