last night i had a glass of wine and my face immediately turned scarlet, this has happened in the past, but usually goes away. i was extremely tired, went to bed, and continued burning up. i have been feeling achy and sore all over and i have a terrible headache - virus?

As per history provided By you,It seems you are suffering from alcohol flush syndrome.

Alcohol flush syndome is more commonly seen in asian populations.
It is because of deficiency of acetaldehyde dehydrogenase a enzyme which leads to accumulation of acetaldehyde in blood.

As such there is no cure for alcohol flush syndome as it caused because some genetic problems.
This syndome is also associated with increased risk of oesophageal cancer.

Best advice to you is stop drinking alcohol in future.
