What Causes Redness Inside Eyes And Yellowness Under The Lids?
Hi, i noticed 3 days ago that both of my eyes are blood shot, one is minimal but the other is quite largely blood shot. It has got a bit worse over the days and i have noticed that the bottom of my eyes under the lids are yellow. Do you have any idea what could be causing this?

Yellowing of the eyes is typically a result of dysfunction of the liver, gallbladder, or pancreas. In some instances yellow eyes can involve multiple organs. I would suggest you to consult gastroenterologist for proper evaluation of the condition and rule out conditions like dust in eye , allergic reactions , colds and bacteria or viral infection . Doctor may order blood tests to determine how well your liver is functioning may include the prothrombin time test, which measures how long it takes your blood to clot , ultrasound and liver tissue test . Doctor may also refer you to ophthalmologist .
