What Causes Redness In The Penis Of 9 Month Old Baby?

my 9 month old sons penis is red. His testicles are normal color it is just the whole penis. He is currently getting his molars in and has been not wanting to eat or drink I was wondering if he could be dehydrated and that is what is causing the redness??

Hi...by what you quote I feel that it could be a -

1. Balanoposthitis or infection / inflammation of the penile tip
2. Cellulitis of the penis
3. Allergic reaction for a bug bite.

I suggest you get in touch with your pediatrician.
