What Causes Redness In Eyes With Burning Sensation And Watering?
I slept in my contacts on accident and removed them last night. This morning when I woke up my eyes were bright red, they ve burned all day and are incredibly watery. Also when I woke up they were both pretty gunky. While it does fit the symptoms of conjunctivitis, could it just be severe irritation from dried out eyes?

consequence of prolong use of contact gives rise to dry eye and corneal erosion. dis continue contact for few days take specs. apply refresh eye tear drop three times daily. it will improve soon.

prolonged use of contact lens causes dry eye and corneal erosion this will be akin to conjunctivitis. remove contact and use specs. apply refresh eye tear drop 3times daily for 5days. it will become normal.
