What Causes Redness And Painful Swelling In Toe?
my wife (45 yrs) has swelling, redness and pain in her little toe (for approx. 2 months) She has been to the Dr and was told she didn t have any infection Now, in addition, her knee on the same leg can barely bend and she is having trouble getting around, in pain I just want to see if there is anything specific that would cause this Appreciate any response Dusty

I really appreciate your concern, here the symptoms and condition could be suggestive of arthritis for confirmation may needs some investigation till then Tab Diclofenac 50 mg once in day some endocrine disease also needs to be ruled out like diabetes, ask her to keep the leg in elevated position, steroid can be tried if she is qualified for it, hope this information helps.
