Hi,

Your daughter may be having most probably cystic acne..also called acne cystica.
You consult dermatologist for firm diagnosis. It is a form of acne, caused by multiple factors like stress, anxiety, genetic influence, oily food..etc

Azithromycine or minocycline may be given for long time in proper dose. Isotretinoin in low dose of 5 mg may be given, if not contraindicated. The lesions might subside after few months treatment. I usually give intralesional steroid injection like triamcenolone 10 mg in cysts in my patients having cystic acne.It might give good result.

I hope you got my answer.

Thanks.
