What Causes Red Spot On Tip Of Penis?

Hi, i noticed what looks like a pinkish red spot on the tip of my penis around the urethra. It doesn t hurt, itch, or feel any different than when I didn t have it. Looks almost like a dry patch, but not to the point where skin is falling off or anything. I can t seem to get an accurate description of it really.

Hello,

Welcome to healthcaremagic.com

Having a red spot on the tip of penis is a matter of concern. Such a spot may be caused by localised inflammation due to infection. Though not associated with itch or pain, still there is a possibility of having a genital infection. Such infections also increases chance of contracting sexual transmitted diseases.
Advice for you to is to consult a venereologist and get a STD screen done.

Thank you.
