What Causes Red Rashes On The Arms And Chest While On Lisinopril?

I ve been taking lisinopril for years. For the past few months, within 5 minutes after I take it, I get a red botches on my arms (wrist to elbow), upper chest at the base of my neck, and on my cheeks, and forehead. I drink about a gallon of water, sometimes more, daily. I m diabetic but it s controlled by pills, I take cholesterol medication, and generic wellbutrin and prozac for depression. I also am on depakote for a anxiety disorder, and lithium carbonate for bipolar disorder. Any ideas. It s not raised like a rash, nor is it itchy. Just an eye sore.

General Surgeon 's  Response
Hi,

There sounds to be possible drug interaction via simultaneous intake of 2 drugs. Needs dose spacing among different molecules for better results.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Bhagyesh V. Patel, General Surgeon
