What Causes Red Rashes On Legs, Hands And Thighs Of A Child?

Hello doctor, My daughter 4 yrs old developed red rash on her legs ,hands and thies. She has some bed wetting habits. However, we are very stressed aince rash is rapidly growing on legs. She doesnt have fever or body ache.Doctor has just prescibed sooting skin cream and nothing ekse. Could you please help us in the same regard? How long it will take to cure the rash

Hi,

Noted your history about your 4 your old daughter and understood that there is a rash on the said parts of body but no other symptoms or signs.
This may be due to an allergic reaction to something in food or air, bed linens or so.
It is possible that the 4 year old child can have rash due to playing in open filed.
Another reasons can be internal problems causing such rash.
Hence I would advise you the following:
Take the child to the Skin Specialist that is Dermatologist so that a proper diagnosis and additional oral medications can be started.
These may include an antihistamine and oral steroid if needed.
Continue local applications.
Stop using any soaps for bath.
Keep away form any pet animals.
