What Causes Red Rashes All Over The Body?

Hi, My name is Anjali. I have a 9 months old female baby. On Wednesday night she suffered from 101.1 F temp to which i gave her crocin drops 0.8ml(6.5 kg) 4 hrly..bt the temp did not subside after the second dose...and thus we decided to take her to a pediatrician. He gave her Ofloxacin 2ml 12 hrly suspecting abdominal infection ( as she passed stool 4 times on wednesday night..the stool was normal in texture...apart from that she had no other problem). It was yesterday noon that i discovered rashes ( red spots) on her face and by yesterday midnight the whole body was covered by rashes. Could it be due to the antibiotic as because I have not introduced anything new in the food. Kindly suggest.

HI
Thank for asking to HCM
I really appreciate your concern, let me tell you something, "Fever is friend" for the children, you gave the Acetaminophen (crocin) but the dose was inadequate so you did not got the result, the ideal dose of this is 15 mg/ kg of body weight could be repeated at every six hours (But avoid giving antipyretic medicine better to bring down the body temperature with cold sponging) if the viral fiver is suspected then wait for 4 to 5 days, no need to give antibiotic medicine, high grade fever in this age group could cause rash all over the body but this symptoms comes around, hydration is the only matter, take care and have a nice day.
