What Causes Red Itchy Skin And Puffiness In The Vagina?

i have red itchy skin, that looks puffy in between my leg and my vagina. it hurts, but only if i touch it. it itches every now and again, however it is really bothering me. i have had it for a month and a half. it doesn t seem serious, just worried that it could become serious. rash cream, and lotion have not helped. and neither has not wearing underwear for a few days. it is right where my panty line is, if that helps at all.

Hello

Itching and puffiness in vagina may indicate fungal infection.
You may need clinical examination and further tests.
You may need routine hemogram, random blood sugar, urine RE/ME,culture of discharge(if there is any),etc.
You may need specific drugs for fungus(candida is most common) like clotrimazole.
Clotrimazole tablet(100 mg) of vaginal use can be taken. One tablet is to be inserted deep inside the vagina at night for six consecutive nights.
You may also need perineal wash.
However, skin reasons for local itching should also be evaluated.

Get well soon.
Take Care
