What Causes Red Dots On Torso And Redness Around Navel?

I have red pin prick dots on my torso and at times, redness around my navel; always have crawling sensations and some itching on skin and body in bed and everywhere else. My apt was treaetd for bed bugs last summer and a year and a half before; they are no longer seen. A cat that kept sneaking in the complex supposedly had fleas.

Dermatologist 's  Response
Hi.
As per your case history you are having either miliria or allergic dermatitis.
My treatment advice is -
1. Avoid using any new products like soap or perfume as it may worsen the condition.
2. Apply a soothing lotion like calamine lotion on affected region twice daily.
3. Take an antihistamine medication like levocetrizine twice daily for 7-10 days.
4. Other treatment options are topical steroid, oral antibiotic, oral steroid taken only after consulting a dermatologist.

Thanks.
Dr. Harshit bhachech.
MBBS, DDVL.
