What Causes Red Dots On The Face After Eating Cheese?

My son has had colby cheese for the first time yesterday. He was fine all day but at night became very fussy and crying alot. Even woke up crying and is not himself this morning. He has two small red dots on his cheek about 1 apart. Could this be milk allergy?

Hello,

As per your history, yes it may be due to allergy. You can apply hydrocortisone ointment locally three times a day. In case of itching, you can give syp Cetirizine after pediatrician consultation.

For further evaluation, he may require blood investigations, after detailed medical examination and pediatrician consultation. Till then keep him well hydrated and avoid allergic foods.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
